  • How to access the venue?
    The venue is located 62 avenue de Tervuren, 1040 Etterbeek. We recommend the use of public transportation, since LAB62 is located between the metro stations Merode and Montgomery. It is within walking distance from tram 81 (stops Mérode & Montgomery), trams 39 & 44 (stop ICHEC), busses 27, 61, 80 (stop Montgomery). It is also located nearby Cambio car-sharing stations Mérode & Armée / Leger. Parking "Cinquantenaire" at 150m (rue des Ménapiens - Menapiërsstraat)
  • Is there parking available?
    There are no parking spots reserved for LAB62. It is however possible to park in the streets around the venue. (Parking Cinquantenaire 150 m, rue des Ménapiens - Menapiërsstraat 18)
  • What is included in the rental fee?
    The following services are included in the room rental: cleaning before and after the event, rental of the room itself with the desired setup, heating, Wi-Fi and, on the second floor, air-conditioning. Please note that heat programming is managed for the whole venue by LAB62. Should you need a different heat level for your activity, please make sure to mention it in your booking request.
  • What are the Wi-Fi connection details?
    Wi-Fi is available in all spaces of the venue and included in the rental fee. The network’ speed is 65 Mbps (download) /32 Mbps (upload) and can accommodate up to 254 simultaneous connections.
  • Are there changing rooms and lockers at the venue?
    For activities taking place on the 2nd floor, there are 2 changing rooms (Ladies / Gentlemen) equipped with lockers. LAB62 is not responsible for any loss in or out of the lockers.
  • Can I take a shower after my class?
    Unfortunately, there are no showers at the venue at the moment.
  • Can I bring in my own food or drinks?
    No, we ask that all food and drinks be provided by an approved caterer. List of caterers available upon request.
  • What type of activity can I organise at LAB62?
    LAB62 is the ideal venue to organise events (meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures etc) up to approximately 25 people per floor, depending on the setup. It is also perfect to organise rehearsals or artistic classes and residences.
  • Do I have to take out insurance?
    Whether you are an organisation or an individual organising an activity at LAB62, you must have civil liability insurance and be able to submit your proof of insurance.
  • Is it possible to visit the venue prior to making a booking?
    Yes, it is possible to organise a visit of the venue. You can either call us at +32 470 66 44 89 or send an email to info@lab62.org.
  • Can I organize an event in the evening?
    Yes, upon prior agreement and as long as the venue is vacated by 22:00.
  • Can I rent the same room on a regular basis?
    (e.g.: every 1st Saturday of the month) Yes, after your initial activity took place without any incident, you can apply for a regular rental, as long as the scope of your activity remains unchanged. In this case, please specify it in your online booking.
  • Can I rent a room for less than two hours?
    No. The rooms are only rentable for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Can I rent multiple rooms at the same time?
    In case of a larger event, it is possible to rent several rooms at the same time. In this case, please specify your needs in your request, indicating the use of each room.
  • Can I use the garden?
    The garden and terrace are reserved exclusively for events taking place on the ground floor. Please note it is forbidden to smoke, install anything without prior permission, to organise a barbecue or any other activity that may disturb the neighbourhood’s quietness.
  • Can I play recorded music during my activity?
    It is possible to play recorded music. Please note that it is the booker’s sole responsibility to declare the playlist(s) to organisations managing copyrights (such as SABAM, Playright, Rémunération Equitable, etc.)
  • Can I publicise my activity, and how?"
    LAB62 authorises the advertisement of activities organised at the venue by third parties (the booker) under certain conditions: the mention “independant activity organised at the LAB62 venue” is mandatory on all communication supports, to avoid any confusion between activities organised by LAB62 and activities organised by third parties at LAB62. In addition, communication for activities organised by third parties should never mention LAB62 contact details, but only the organisers’.
  • Can I arrange delivery of items related to my activity / event directly at the venue?
    Upon appointment, you can have your items delivered in person at the venue prior to your activity. There is limited unguarded storage space in the basement. However, we ask that you do not ship by post or courier, as we can’t guarantee someone will be present to receive your delivery.
  • Can I leave anything at the venue at the end of my activity?
    No. Rooms must be left in their original state. You cannot leave anything there, unless you have received prior written consent to do so.
  • Can I come with a pet?
    No, animals are not allowed, except for guide dogs.
  • Can a friend wait for me on site?
    Only those invited to participate in the activity are allowed to access the venue.
